A Puzzling Predicament

Everyone has been going stir crazy at our house lately, to keep things more sane we've tried to come up with extra activities to keep everyone busy. Ardon was given a puzzle for Christmas and we decided to pull it out so he could work on it today. He had help, as usual.

The Collapse of a City

Well, I guess it's just a fire station but it sure seems like a city spread out across my table. Ardon has a few different Lego sets and over time they have come apart and been compiled in a big bag together. Mondays are Bronze's very early day (he got home around 7:30 today) and Ardon thought it would be a good day to work on Legos' together. While they worked together there was a little thief that kept trying to make off with some of their building supplies. How could he resist, it looked like so much fun! While the boys worked on their construction projects Elee did her usual thing, barbies, but was suddenly overcome with curiosity as legos spread across the table and over to the floor. Don't worry barbie, you're not forgotten, just momentarily set aside.

The Kids Kick

The kids seem to get on a pancake kick for breakfast every so often and will eat them until they're coming out of their ears. Last night before bed Ardon asked me if we could have chocolate pancakes for breakfast today, I told him we probably could and he reminded me first thing this morning. I tried a new recipe and Ardon said it was the best pancakes we'd ever made and went on to eat 5 of them. Elee also downed several and Eliad helped himself to a couple and they each ate them in their own fashion. I don't know if it was the new recipe or just that they were really hungry, but pancakes were a big hit today!

Of Christmas Past

Many moons ago my mother made this Christmas dress for me, she brought it over not long ago so Elee, who is constantly informing us she's a princess, or plans on being one when she grows up, could wear it. I finally pulled it out this morning and her eyes lit up when she saw what I had. Elee, sometimes we have to crack down and get back to reality but right now you can be a princess!

Sometimes it Hurts....

to be beautiful.

When little boys and little girls grow up together there's bound to be some dressing up in each others things. The other day there was a Batman, a Venom and a Spiderman running around my house, now there are 2 of those same children running around in princess shoes!

Uh, Oh

It seems like our lives are full of "uh, oh's" at this stage.
