Last night we got to call the gas company out in the middle of the night because our carbon monoxide alarm went off. Between the incredibly loud alarm and discussion with the person who came out everyone was awake by the end of the ordeal.

When it was all said and done, the readings on our alarm had gone back to normal and the sensor brought by the gas company never could pick anything up. Possible down draft? Who knows, but at least all is quiet for now!
Glad everything turned out ok. I never thought of getting a carbon monoxide detector for a home, but I see they can be very useful. Something we will look into getting soon!
ReplyDeleteGlad all are safe. Glad you all woke up. Once we were in a hotel and the fire alarms went off at 3am. Scared David and I to death (think racing heart/panic/fright). David immediatley starts assessing our safety. No immediate danger, but be ready if need be. ALL THREE GIRLS SLEPT THROUGH THE WHOLE THING...over ten minutes! SCARY. That alarm was WAY louder than the ones we have at home.
