I married my best friend and we set out on the adventure of a lifetime. In some ways it feels like we've been together forever and in others we can't believe it's been 10 years all ready! A lot has happend, different careers, homes, cars and 3 kids later and we've discovered we love each other more and more as time goes on. I can't and wouldn't want to imagine life any other way or with anyone else. Thanks for 10 great years of love, laughter and adventure, I look forward to what the next 10, 20 and 30+ years will bring us!

No Rest This Weekend
We had a busy/weird/tiring day. We are in the process of finishing some of our basement and Bronze has a childhood friend named Andy with a remodel business who is helping him. I spent the day rounding up kids and keeping them out of drywall putty, nails and away from saws while the guys worked. They have made a lot of progress and it's exciting to see it come together. They started working a little before noon and later in the day Andy's daughters came over with their mom to hang out. Thanks for all the help Andy, there's no way we'd have been able to get it all done without you! Here is what has been done so far and some of the work in progress!

May Day Deliveries
I remember when I was younger we would make flower deliveries on the 1st of May. Sometimes it was fresh cut flowers or a little pack of perennials and others it was handcrafted flowers that we'd made from cupcake liners and sprayed generously with perfume. I have done this with my kiddos, carrying on the fun tradition, but somehow I missed the 1st of May last year :-P. I wanted to make sure we got to do our flower deliveries this year so we got ourselves ready and headed out. Even though I made a mental note to take pictures it only happened at one of the stops, maybe I should try a paper note next time! It was a fun outing and a nice way to start off May!
